Our Frequently Asked Questions

All you need is bedding and your personal belongings. We provide cooking Utensils, Cutlery, Pots and Pans, Iron and Ironing board and lots more.

Rent includes High Speed Broadband and all bills. We have a weekly cleaner for all communal areas inside, and a gardener and window cleaner to keep everything outside clean and tidy.

We have a minimum tenancy agreement of 6 months, but we’re hoping you’ll want to stay longer!

We always ask for a months notice when you decide to leave us. If you leave within the first 6 months you will continue to pay the rent until a suitable replacement tenant is sourced, referenced and until the replacement tenancy commences.

Yes, we need to take previous landlord and current employment references. You will also be asked to complete a tenant information form.

We like to meet and have a chat with you before we can offer you a room as we try and fit like minded people together in each house. After a telephone interview we’ll arrange to meet you at the house to show you around and seeif the room meets your needs.
 
If it works for all of us we’ll ask you for a £100 holding deposit to secure the room. This holding deposit is non-refundable if you decide not to take the room, otherwise we will deduct the deposit from your first months rent.

The majority of our housemates are young professionals aged 21 – 35. We attract a wide variety of tenants that work in different sectors including retail, manufacturing, financial services, public sector and the NHS. Most of our housemates are new to Bury and are looking for like-minded people to socialise with.
